Alan Hickenbottom, Founder and President
Alan is responsible for business development and corporate management. In 2003, after 20 years in high-tech, he co-founded Common Energy, a renewable energy and green building firm located in Hood River, Oregon. In 2006 he joined Energy Outfitters, later acquired by groSolar, as Director of the Commercial Products Division. An Oregon native, Alan is a well known member of Oregon's alternative energy community and a frequent speaker on renewable energy and sustainable business topics.
Craig Stewart, Director of Project Development
Craig is responsible for project implementation and management. Craig's charter is to ensure every Tanner Creek Energy project is built to meet performance requirements and is completed on time and on budget. After studying construction and structural engineering, Craig spent 20 years as an educator and was the Co-Founder and Director of the Healthy Waters Institute for Oregon Trout, a statewide non-profit working to restore freshwater health through innovation and education. Prior to joining Tanner Creek Energy, Craig was project manager for a large west coast biofuels producer.
Kyle Kobel, Technical Services Manager
Kyle is responsible for overall photovoltaic (PV) system design and ensuring that each system is designed to meet client goals and requirements. His role includes the effective utilization and coordination of external consulting and engineering services. Kyle is also responsible for Tanner Creek Energy's internal technical systems. After many years as a technology consultant and manager, Kyle entered the energy field as a program manager with the BetterBricks initiative of the Northwest Energy Efficiency Alliance.
Mindy Holdsworth, Operations Manager
Mindy is responsible for operations, procurement and internal administration. She has many years of experience in operations and administration for Oregon-based architectural and general contracting firms.
